Jeopardiem is a daily trivia game built around historical Jeopardy! clues: answer ten questions, then commit some of your winnings to Final Jeopardy. You type each response yourself, moving through five Jeopardy clues and five Double Jeopardy clues before the last question. In my completed round, the shift from answering facts to choosing a wager was the moment that gave the run its personality.
Ten clues, one response at a time
The opening screen put a Classic Cinema clue worth $200 inside a blue card with a gold border. There was one answer field and an arrow to submit, rather than a board of categories to choose from. After entering a response, I received a CORRECT message, the accepted answer, and a Continue button. A green box marked the completed clue in the vertical progress strip.
The values rose through $1,000 in the first round. Double Jeopardy then started at $400 and continued through $2,000. The sequence mixed cinema, vocabulary, art, music, buildings, television, history, and food. That variety made knowledge gaps more relevant than learning a single specialist topic.
One useful detail emerged when I entered a museum's name without its leading article: the game accepted the shorter form and displayed alternatives in the feedback. That is reassuring for ordinary naming variations, although this successful run does not establish how the checker handles misspellings or disputed answers. I entered plain names and phrases throughout, without adding “What is” or “Who is.” The official help confirms that question phrasing is optional and says wrong answers do not penalize you.
The category comes before the wager
After ten correct responses, I had $9,000 in game points. Final Jeopardy first showed the category, British Novel Characters, an old broadcast date, and a wager field accepting an amount from zero to my current total. The actual clue stayed hidden until I locked in $4,500.
That order matters. You are judging your confidence in an entire subject, rather than pricing a question you have already read. I answered the final clue correctly and reached a results page showing $13,500, a share-text box, and a detailed breakdown below it. The site also displayed average scores and wager information, but those changing figures are not a measure of how a future puzzle will play.
My practical tip is to decide how comfortable you are with the revealed category before committing your points. The ordinary questions encourage an attempt; the final screen asks for a separate decision about confidence. I tested a successful wager, so I would not use this session alone to describe every possible losing outcome.
Read the air date as part of the context
Each clue carried its original air date. My opening cinema clue was dated September 9, 1998, while the final clue came from November 11, 2004. When wording sounds time-sensitive, that date helps explain which moment the clue belongs to.
Jeopardiem describes itself as an unofficial fan project. Its data attribution credits J! Archive for the clues and a dataset compiled by Reddit user /u/trexmatt. That credit identifies a data source, not a verified name for the game's developer.
The round suited deliberate recall: there were no multiple-choice options to narrow an uncertain response. I liked the clear feedback and the final category reveal more than the fixed question order, which gives you little control over which subject comes next. The Archive navigation opened a calendar with earlier dates linked to playable puzzles; I inspected that calendar without collecting past answers.
Jeopardiem FAQ
How do you play Jeopardiem?
Type responses to five Jeopardy clues and five Double Jeopardy clues, submit each one, and use Continue after feedback. Finish with a Final Jeopardy question. The daily structure is stated in the official rules and matched my complete playthrough.
How does the Final Jeopardy wager work?
In my round, the game revealed the category first. I chose an amount within the displayed zero-to-current-total range and locked it in before seeing the clue. A correct final response added my chosen wager to the total.
