Editorial Policy
DlePick exists to answer one question for daily-game players: is this game worth a place in my routine? This page explains how we try to answer it honestly.
How we choose games
We look for daily games that are free, playable in a browser without an account, and that offer something distinctive. We find them through player suggestions, community lists and our own daily play. We would rather cover fewer games well than list everything.
How we review
- We play first. Every review is based on playing the game ourselves, usually across more than one session. Screenshots on review pages come from our own playthroughs.
- We only describe what we observed. If we haven't reached a part of the game, we don't guess about it, and we note when a review is based on a short session.
- We give a clear verdict. Instead of an invented number, each review ends with a one-line verdict, what works, what's worth knowing, and who the game is best for.
- We keep reviews up to date. Daily games change. When a game changes significantly, we update the review and the "Updated" date on the page.
Player ratings
Scores on DlePick come from players, not from us. Anyone can rate a game from one to five stars and say whether they would play again, and can change their vote later. We only show a score after at least five players have rated, we never seed ratings with made-up numbers, and we limit duplicate and automated votes.
Creator videos
We hand-pick a small number of TikTok and YouTube videos per game, at most one per creator, and add a note on what each video shows. Videos only load when you click them. If a creator says a video is sponsored, we say so too. Featuring a video does not mean the creator endorses DlePick.
Independence and advertising
We don't accept payment for reviews, verdicts or ratings. Developers can suggest their games, but a review is never guaranteed and they don't see it before it is published. The site may be supported by advertising, which has no influence on our editorial decisions.
