Point Blank (1967)
Why this is the answer (spoilers)
Point Blank is a 1967 crime thriller directed by John Boorman and starring Lee Marvin, based on the novel The Hunter by Richard Stark (Donald E. Westlake).
The opening clip we saw was very dark: a dimly lit close-up of a face with deep red tones, giving very little away. Flickle's own result screen showed this puzzle was a replay of an earlier round, and most players did not get it.
Tip: older crime films are hard on Flickle; if the clips feel like 1960s colour cinema with a cold, determined lead, try classic neo-noir titles.
