The Suicide Squad is James Gunn's 2021 DC film, a soft reboot sending Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, Idris Elba's Bloodsport and John Cena's Peacemaker to Corto Maltese. It is gorier and funnier than the 2016 film it follows.
The clips escalate helpfully: prison cells and black-ops staging first, then jungle firefights, and finally a kaiju-sized starfish rampaging through a city, which removes all doubt.
